Subject: приём в академию идёт по строгим критериям Подскажите, пож-та, как предложение "Приём в академию идёт по строгим критериям" лучше перевести на английский. В голову приходит только что-нибудь вроде The criteria of selecting students for admission to the Academy are quite strict... Может быть, есть вариант красивее? Спасибо.

alternatively, applicants are/shall/will be held to high (academic, professional, etc) standards ...must have a proven track record in... I am afraid "high hallmarks" doesn't fly here :-) |

| Students-то, наверное, не пойдет, поскольку они еще не поступили, так что applicants, enrollee, абитура, короче. :-) |
