how would you say "visual analyzer" in Russian? wouldn't you just call them glaza?

Rather. On the verge of being ridiculous) Unless this is a medical research or something, I'd personally go with зрение or глаза

That's what I thought. It is ridiculous in English as well. It is absurd to think that you cant just say eye strain to your employees.
