Системы двусторонней радиосвязи; приемопередатчики. (Кстати, "worked very GOOD" - очень разговорно, даже с намеком на безграмотность (истинную или кажущуюся); по правилам надо бы "worked very WELL" :) |

(For Alexamel) Thanx for your help, pal! I came across this word combination in "How Electronic Things Work and What To Do If They Don't" guidebook. It was obviously written by a guy who was a lot more used to his soldering irons, testers, and screwdrivers, rather than to writing books. So "worked good" didn't really surprise me:-))) PS Может, тогда скажешь, что такое COMMERCIAL two-way radio system. Только мне точно надо, я ведь все-таки книгу перевожу, а не для типа intellectual enjoyment:-))) |

Mizzie - It's say "промышленные системы двусторонней радиосвязи", "промышленный" meaning made in large numbers by a (manufacturing) industry and designed for mass markets (to make profit). Hey, your English sounds great - making me wonder why you needed the translations in the first place... |

А вот это уже дело! Я про "промышленные" системы. Somehow, the word never occurred to me. Thank you for complimenting me on my English. Unfortunately, recently I was to find out that, as far as translations of special literature are concerned, my command of English is of little help. It's the knowledge of the subject that matters, and my knoledge of electronics leaves much to be desired. Спасибо за помощь! Если че, пиши, может, я чем помогу.
