Subject: Внедрение второго этапа не всуе я, братья и сестры, вспоминал нонча Plain Russian Campaign, не всуе. Бьюся я с одним годовым отчетом, изобилующим гулкими и многословными предложениями, которые надо по возможности изложить на понятном английском языкеПредконтекст: ЫЫЫ запустила новую расчетную систему, которая на 1 этапе функциклирует параллельно со старой. А вот что говорится про второй этап: Внедрение второго этапа позволит ЫЫЫ полностью перейти на единую технологическую платформу, дающую значительные технологические преимущества не только самой компании, но и ее клиентам. Внимание, вопрос. (с) Не лучше ли этот "внедрямс" сделать попроще? Пока что рисуется вот что. Критика most welcome. да думал я про launch, и про просто at the second stage ... will fully migrate to ... or will complete its migration to ... Вопрос в прынцыпе - не надо ли сентенции делать более plain. кстати, вот еще сентенция - насладитесь. И так каждое предложение. :) Для решения всего многообразия стоящих перед компанией задач в 2005 году продолжится каждодневная кропотливая работа всего коллектива *** с учетом перечисленных планов в рамках стратегии по созданию Центрального депозитария. |

ох, Юра, Вы бы знали, как я сегодня озверела от перевода 1 (!!!) страницы этого разнесчастного теханализа (рус.> англ), с которой я вступала в неформальные отношения почти весь день :(( причем, перелопатив гору литературы, я поняла, что в "наших" теханализах и их charts analysis ну очень мало общего :(( После этого Мандатное письмо на лид-менеджерство с англ. на русс. на 15 стр. воспринимается как заслуженный отдых. Сорри, опять офф, ну уж накипело! |

I like 2pizza's version, but some "strict grammarians" may frown at your use of a split infinitive (to fully migrate). If this is a concern, you may want to say: Implementation of the second stage will facilitate DCC's full/complete migration to a single platform, which offers major technological benefits both to the Company and its customers. But I am being really picky here. Your version is great as is. |

game, this is nitpicking. although technically of course u r right. but grammar rules r so famously lax now, and not only in the land of the-not-so-free, but in britain, of all place, as well, that raising redflags at such minor points makes one look anal-retentive. and that is not the look one would want to have. :-) embarking on the second phase of the project will give DCC a decisive nudge forward as it attempts to forge a single technology platform that would generate benefits both to the company and its client base |

Да это же обыкновенный русский новояз. Читай - "если осуществится (будет начат) второй этап, то создадуться условия для..." Этап (проекта, работы и т.д.) - это (в 95% случаев) PHASE. |

Consider Stage/Phase 2, once implemented will allow for a smooth transition to... ...will enable (us, the company, ... whatever) to make a transition / to move to... 2 tal'- tu sais, mon grand, tu nous as beaucoup manque recemment. Franchement. Et tu as tort de recommencer. 'y a des mecs (ainsi que des dames ici) qui sont susceptibles de partir apres avoir lu tes remarques un peu trop agressives. Any bright ideas? |

2 talgat And where are the grammar rules becoming so famously lax? Must be in the trailer park where you’ve picked up your grammar. I have a suggestion for you then: you might want to think about joining a different social circle. Educated native speakers, the last time I checked, were still using Standard English in writing. Besides, if we follow your suit and take your grammar laxative, no Imodium Advance will ever stop the verbal diaria and we will become as anal-retentive as you are: “Yo man, you ain’t seen nothing yet”. |

| 2 game: You are absolutely right: I messed up with that "both to". Just didn't read the sentence all the way through. And I think it is a more serious grammar offense on my part than that split infinitive, which I was picking on. ;-) Thanks. |

2 Game - LOL!!! Да-а,.... вот и верь после этого электронике :-)) Её оказывается очень легко обдурить :-) - я там в одном слове опечатку допустил - написал soir вместо sois. И эта дура-софтВерка -- нет чтоб прикинуть одно место к носу: "никак соколик наш просто не то имел в виду, что сам напечатал,а?" -- так и рубанула херню какую-то про "вечер" :-))))) И в дюжине ещё мест этой же НЕзамысловатой фразы, которую любой б.-м. понимаюший улично-разговорный французский инъязовец с 3-го курса перевел бы с полпинка - вляпалась ногой себе в рот... ну монументально :-))) |
