Subject: appreciatively

appreciatively is used by some as a way of closing letters (instead of "Sincerely yours," "Best regards," etc.). Perhaps it originated among practitioners of Appreciative Inquiry (http://appreciativeinquiry.case.edu/intro/whatisai.cfm)?

Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion, foxtrot. I think с уважением, like regards, has lost its originally meaning, something said just to end the message...

Is there something akin, perhaps to всего светлого, that would not sound too starry-eyed?

**С уважением,** is normal ending to most letters written nowdays.
To spare people some starry-eyed effect i would suggest using "всего наилучшего" or с "наилучшими пожеланиями" in place of **всего светлого**. Though i still gravitate to my original viewpoint that is the word is more likely to be have closer association with "с уважением" than any other cliche i know of.
On second thoughts, gel has come up with good ones:)
