| Насчет rolling hills предагаю поиграть со словом "раскинуться", мол, щедрая плодородная земля с раскинувшимися на ней зелеными холмами...хотя, тож коряво, но можно активную конструкцию - раскинулись холмы... либо просто написать - Westonbirt был холмистой местностью, плодородной и цветущей. |

Хотя большая часть владений была отдана под сельское хозяйство несколько веков назад, широкие поля, непосредственно прилегавшие к дому, сохранили свою первоначальную красоту, которой семья и наслаждалась в относительной тишине и спокойствии.
