The maximum load permitted on the CIS Road Network on normal Road Trailers is 20 Tons. (The axle weight is 10 Tons per axle). Heavier loads can be transported by axle additions.
Bridge clearances are, as a rule, 4.20 m from the road surface (minimum).
Satcom equipped Western haulage carriers as well as Eastern Bloc Satcom haulage carrier operators may be employed for overland operations.
Western hauliers employ 13.6 m Trailers, as a rule, air ride with self-levelling suspension (adding to cargo safety).
