Может кто-нибудь еще подскажет, чем отличается debenture от debenture stock. В Lingvo и то и другое переводится как долговое обязательство или облигация, видела еще вариант для debenture - привилегированная акция. В моем Учредительном договоре (см. выше) как их разграничить? |

investorwords дает "привилегированную акцию" как раз для debenture stock, а не для debenture : debenture stock Stock issued under a contract to pay specified amounts at specified intervals. The name is misleading, since it's more like preferred stock than a debenture. А поскольку preferred shares у вас в перечне нет, то и используйте в переводе "привилегированные акции" Скорее уж стоит задаться вопросом, чем отличаются bonds и debentures, раз и те, и другие - облигации. Как я понимаю, debentures - ничем не обеспеченные облигации, а bonds могут быть (но не всегда) обеспеченными. Причем в очередности погашения bonds стоят раньше, чем debentures, но и процент по ним ниже. Правда, на практике мне debentures никогда не встречались. в переводе я бы так и писала: обеспеченные и необеспеченные облигации |
