Желательно знать, про что речь? Тогда будет больше шансов, что Вам помогут. strand обычно - пряжа (м.б. многожильный токоподвод) string - м.б. многоэлектродная сборка. |
| контекст привела выше. это электроды плавильной печи,электродуговой. но электрод же не может вворачиваться в многожильный провод электрода? |

Разумеется, в электродной сборке должен быть какой-то промежуточный неподвижный обруч или колпак с внутр. резьбой, куда с одной стороны ввинчивается электрод, а с другой прикрепляется (приваривается?) многожильный медный провод. Такие детали могут быть опущены, особенно, если есть чертежи. |
