| it doesnt have to be about lotteries. the term is commonplace in politics, too. for example, u can refer to kerry/edwards as a losing ticket. for example, john edward's furhter political ambitions may have been prematurely thwarted by being on kerry's loosing ticket in '04. that is just a sentence i have come off the top of my head, but there r many more where this one came from. tal |
