Subject: "Крыши", кланы и протекция :) Вот, пожалуйста, помогите поадекватнее на инглише выразить:О протекции XXX известно тоже немного. YYY категорически опровергает слухи о какой-либо политической "крыше". По его словам, XXX не имеет также никаких отношений с финансово-промышленными кланами ZZZ области. Ее интересы не пересекаются с интересами крупнейших империй этого региона. My try: Not much is also known about XXX’s ***patronage***. YYY positively spikes the rumors of any ***political backing***. According to his words, XXX also has no relations with the ***financial and industrial clans*** of the ZZZ region. Its interests do not ***cross/meet/overlap with*** the interests of the most powerful empires of this region. Please give any feedback! |

Consider changing the last sentence to go along with the general connotation of the paragraph: Her/its interests do not infringe on the turf (s) of the the most powerful empires of this region. |
