1) Remove the throttled nut that secures the tie rod arm and the tie rod connector.
2) Separate the tie rod arm from the tie rod using a puller(see Fig. 7-6).
3) Remove the thimble bolt from the tie rod.
4) Remove the tie rod connector from the tie rod assembly.
Caution: The right end of the tie rod uses right hand thread, and the left end of the tie rod uses left hand thread.
5) To disassemble the end of the tie rod, pull out the cotter from the tie rod connector, and remove the
adjusting threaded plug and other parts. thimble bolt - ?
