During the period from 1984 to 2005, the total amount of electric power generated by utilizing LNG cold energy accounted for 53% of the total energy consumed at Himeji LNG Terminal, totaling 372 GWh. The sum of this amount and the amount of electric power saved by the GT inlet air cooling system is equal to a CO2 reduction of approximately 264,000 tCO2.
