Выражение встречается в следующем контексте:definitions of terms

Это из учредит. документов?
Poll вообще - это голосование бюллетенями, в отличие от голосования просто поднятием руки (show of hands или типа того). Может, в "терминах" так и написать:
"Голосование - (имеется в виду) голосование бюллетенями".
Вообще, на вс. случай все-таки контекст нужен, имхо.

голосования по принципу "одна акция - один голос"
мне попадалось раньше statutory/straight voting

коньтекст для иллюстрации.
The announcement does not state that such votes should be held on a poll (one share, one vote) rather than a show of hands (one shareholder, one vote)
довод против "кумулятивного" (хотя оно и так ясно)
cumulative vote просто не используется там, где нужно сказать "да"/"нет" (или воздерживаюс)
получается, что бюллетень все равно самый удобный вариант.
хотя?
чет я тут кукарекаю в темноте.
