Но больше и впрямь похоже, что прав Племянник: omas - cуществительное мн. ч., образованное от суффикса -oma, который обозначает tumor, как в lipoma, seminoma, glioma.

Да, контекст большое дело

Я бы перевел просто как "омы" (в кавычках), учитывая, что до этого идёт описательное перечисление (миома, неврома и т.д.).
Мы же говорим "измы" (izms) в применении ко всяким коммунизмам, материализмам и реализмам.
