Subject: тонкость выбора между Present Continuous и Present Perfect Continuous
Помогите разобраться, в чем тонкость выбора в одном случае использовать Present Continuous, а в другом - Present Perfect Continuous ?

в таких ситуациях:

Recently, I have been feeling tired.
Recently, I'm feeling tired.

I've been feeling tired today.
I'm feeling tired today.

I've been feeling tired all the time.
I'm feeling tired all the time.

I feel tired all the time. (Present simple)

I'm always tired.

I've been tired all day.

I would tend more to pair 'feel' with 'sleepy' rather than tired and would 'be tired'

With specific regard to PC: I'm feeling sleepy today
versus PPC: I've been feeling sleepy all day.

It's the kind of thing that's difficult to explain, it's mostly intuition.

ACTIVITY 1

Read example sentences and then decide which of the rules presented below is false.

PRESENT PERFECT
I have written the report.
I have lived in Paris for 25 years.
Chloe has drunk 3 cups of coffee this evening.

PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS

I have been writing the report.
I have been waiting for you for 20 minutes.
Chloe has been drinking coffee this evening and she can’t fall asleep.

RULE 1:

We use the present perfect continuous when we are more interested in the activity itself and the present
perfect when the results are more important to us than the activity.

RULE 2:

Only the present perfect continuous can be used for activities which are still happening.

RULE 3:

We can use the present perfect continuous for activities which have recently stopped.

RULE 4:

When we want to say about the quantity (how much / how many) we use the present perfect simple.
