Subject: "Это очень долгий срок" Как покоректнее выразиться, если надо сказать, что срок очень долгий. Например: обещали прислать в августе, а теперь говорят, что смогут прислать только в октябре.

| Можно пойти "от противного". Например: мы будем рады, если вы пришлете раньше. It would be wonderful if you could send it earlier. Или: I wonder if you could send it earlier. Или: I wish you could send it earlier. Или: What's the earliest date you can make it? |

Such a schedule does not work for us. We will be unable to wait so long. Such a long wait will be a rather large inconvenience for us. I would use #3 |
