Subject: Belts open - close

Здравствуйте,

Помогите, пожалуйста, перевести "open - close" применительно к ремням на экструдере

The belt vertical stroke in both directions OPEN - CLOSE is delimited byм position limit switches

Position limit switches, controlling belts OPEN – CLOSE

Close the belts by rotating selector switch to CLOSE position

Once the machine is stopped, open the belts push button by acting on selector switch

Концевик имеет два функционала: open und close.

Ремни либо начинают движение, либо прекращают его.

Скорее всего речь идёт о парных узколенточных (или ременных) конвейерах, которые могут разводиться и сводиться (для прижима к перемещаемым продуктам). Естественно, разведённое и сведённое положение таких конвейеров (а точнее одного - подвижного), контролируется датчиками открытого (разведённого) и закрытого (сведённого) положения.

The English looks rather poor overall (5-6/10). The meaning of paragraph 3 is clear, but paragraphs 1, 2 and 4 are poorly-written.

Secondly, it's not helped by the fact that it's from a user guide/set of instructions. These often use a form of shorthand English which omits some of the articles, eg "Switch engine on by turning key" for "Switch the engine on by turning the key".

For these two reasons, you may have to use some imagination to work out what the author is trying to say in correct English in paras 1, 2 and 4 before you try translating it into Russian.

* 'both directions OPEN - CLOSE' may possibly mean 'in both OPEN and CLOSE modes' or 'in both OPEN and CLOSE positions' – but they're only guesses by me.

* 'is delimited byм(???) position limit switches' may possibly mean 'is delimited by the position limit switches' – whatever they are.

* 'by acting on selector switch' isn't English. Could it mean 'by activating the selector switch'?

Это экструдер компании sara srl (Италия). Согласно данных сайта компания разрабатывает и производит вращающиеся двухчервячные экструдеры и общие линии по экструзии профилей‚ труб‚ листов и панелей из пенопласта.

что-то я на таких экструдерах не припомню сдвижных-раздвижных транспортеров

и тут ничего такого не упоминается

(кстати, там шнеки не просто вращающиеся, а однонаправленно вращающиеся)
