Subject: state investment advisory statutes invest.

To the extent that digital currencies are deemed to fall within the definition of a security pursuant to subsequent rulemaking by the SEC, the Partnership and the General Partner may be required to register and comply with additional regulation under the Investment Company Act of 1940 or similar state investment advisory statutes.

Moreover, the General Partner may be required to register as an investment adviser under the Investment Adviser Act of 1940 or similar state investment advisory statutes.

"state" к чему относится - к инвестициям или к закону (state investment = government investment?)

в соответствии с ... или аналогичным законодательством, регулирующим оказание консультационных услуг по вопросам государственных инвестиций...

В таком случае, это могут быть и государственные (=федеральные) законы (нормативные акты), и законы штатов... Или нет?..

иначе было бы "federal statute", имхо
