| обычно переводим что написано и как написано в оригинале - даже если немножко чушь )) |

Petrelnik, договор может быть и не работы - напр., хотят производство создавать, для которого потом нужно будет оборудование пока что деньги изыскивают а вот как начнут стройку века - так и подпишут договор на поставки :-) |

Alex16: You're probably right. 'Works' will be understood perfectly well, but I suspect that 'work' is probably slightly better in this case. Which (if either) is best -- 'work' or 'works' -- depends partly on what's being built and whether it involves just one project (eg building a house), in which case most people would just say 'building work', or sth much bigger involving several projects at the same time (say, a housing estate inc roads, shops etc), in which case you could probably use either. It all depends on the context, but unfortunately we don't know much about that in this case. |
