Upward jarring will cause the equalization screws and inner mandrel screws to
shear and the standing valve can now be retrieved from the well bore.

If pressure testing is required in one run without shearing the setting tool, we
recommend that the standing valve is set hydraulically as follows:

Lower the standing valve in the well bore, this should be done at a relatively
steady speed and care should be taken when passing through restrictions or
when opening the spang jars to prevent premature equalization.

Once the nipple is encountered 1 or 2 light downward taps should be applied to
ensure the seals have entered the seal bore then pressure can be applied.
