Material is not a defined ISE term and it is at the discretion of the issuer/lawyers as to whether or not they deem the event to be material. Indeed some issuers chose to make announcements in any event so that the market is informed as to recent activity. The market is notified via the listing agent whereby an announcement is submitted. Announcements are sent to the Companies Announcement Office (“CAO”) of the ISE via the listing agent. Announcements can be as brief or as detailed as needed.
