Subject: В тот морозный январь , "дедушка" и многое другое gen. Уважаемые форумчане, вынужден обратиться за помощью. После 7 страниц текста (который, скажем прямо, написан не сильно хорошо) совсем не могу нормально все расставить по полочкам.В тот морозный январь 1924-го года в течении 3-х дней мимо гроба "дедушки" Ленина в Колонном зале Дома Союзов прошло больше миллиона человек. Много знамен от рабочих коммун было склонено над телом вождя мирового пролетариата в числе знамен ГПУ НКВД РСФСР. Ух, перевел я так, но мне это очень не нравится: заранее благодарю за помощь |

| On that frosty January day of the year 1924 more than a million of people passed by the "grandfather" Lenin's coffin in the House of Unions Pillar Hall. Among banners of RSFSR PCIA SPD installed above the World Proletariat Leader's body, there was a big number of banners from communes of workers. |

my humble try: It was a snappy day of January 1924. Within three day's time over one million people came to the Grandfather Lenin's coffin in the Pillar Hall of Unions to pay tribute. Workers' communes laid their banners as a sign of respect of the leader of the world's proletariat many of which banners had NKVD sign on them. |

а мне нравится Grandpa Lenin In the frosty January of 1924, over a million people in 3 days came to the Pillar Hall of the House of the Unions to pass by the coffin of Grandpa Lenin. а в тупик меня поставила фраза - знамена были склонены над телом вождя, выше били варианты lay over the body или install above the body визуально затрудняюсь себе представить, но по-моему ни то и не другое |
