По-моему that would result относится не к estimate , а к amount of error , а being materially misstated к financial statements поэтому: ...мы осуществляем предварительную оценку количества ошибок, которые могли бы повлечь за собой искажение финансовой отчетности. |

На этапе планирования необходимо оценить величину предполагаемой погрешности, могущей привести//приводящей//вызывающей (?) к существенному искажению финансовой отчетности. или В общем, есть над чем работать, ага Над аудитом или над трансформацией отчетности/бухучета бьетесь? |

Нет контекста - нет и подсказки. Может быть основной поток транзакций. А может и не быть. |
