Subject: Представлять интересы busin. Добрый день, уважаемые форумчане!Вопрос у меня, наверно, самый простой, но почему-то я засомневалась. Можно ли перевести предложение: "Интересы компании в России представляет г-н Иванов" следующим образом: "The Company's interests in Russia are represented by Mr. Ivanov"? Знаю, что лучше бы было написать: "Mr.Ivanov acts for (or represent) the Company in Russia". Но можно ли употреблять и выражение в первом случае? Заранее спасибо |

| Не то чтоб уж совсем категорически. Просто passive voice у них редко употребляется. Самый лучший вариант это Mr Ivanov represents the Company in Russia/the Russian Federation. |

The interest of the company (sometimes company benefit or commercial benefit) is a concept that the board of directors in corporations are in most legal systems required to use their powers for the commercial benefit of the company and its members. Иванов представляет концепт компании как-то не звучит. |

in russia, the company is represented by ... mr... represents the company / the company's interests / acts for the company in russia там не про interest, там про interests |
