Strained yogurt, yogurt cheese, labneh (Arabic: labnah), or Greek yogurt is yogurt which has been strained to remove its whey, resulting in a relatively thick consistency (between that of conventional yogurt and cheese), while preserving yogurt's distinctive, sour taste.
