хотеть слишком многого (jouris-t); отважиться (That is a special place for me. There was a time when I had nothing, no money, no home, nothing. I went about 3 days without food, the whole time looking for work. Got a job washing cars at a rental place, pushed my luck and asked the manager for an advance, he had just hired me !!!!, and he handed me $20. I walked up a long hill and found this place, went in, ordered a burger and fries, I guess my stomach had shrunk or something cause I couldn’t finish it. The rest is history.
