inventory reconciliation (An inventory reconciliation is a process of comparing the inventory counts from the end of a period ( we will use a month ) to the count taken at the beginning of the same period. The comparison includes all activity that has taken place during that same time frame, such as purchases, sales, damaged goods, refunds and credits from the vendor.
