qp (and anyone else who's interested): Sorry for the long delay in replying. I was off MT for 9 days, then it was offline for 2-3 days, and now we've had the Christmas holiday here, which this year is effectively 4 days long (the weekend + Mon & Tue). OK, I shall try to search for clips on those themes, featuring speakers with clear pronunciation and good subtitles. In the meantime, please let me know whether the narration in the last clip (about the Mona Lisa) was too slow for you or about right. |
| Для выяснения произношения имен и фамилий обычно использую forvo и https://www.howtopronounce.com. Правда, совсем уж заковыристые имена могут редко, но отсутствовать и там и там. В таких случаях, если речь идет о реальном персонаже, не чурающемся интернета (например, специалисте в какой-нибудь области медицины), забиваю, к примеру, "Dr. такой-то" в поисковую строку гугла и жму вкладку "Видео". Почти всегда находится какая-нибудь видеолекция, телепередача и т.п. event с участием сего доктора, где он, здороваясь, весьма четко называет свое имя (или это делает за него ведущий). |
