AIA Leverage Chart

Every employee eligible for an AIA has a target award driven by Job Band and expressed as a percentage of base salary. Whether an employee receives an award "at," "below," or "above" target depends on individual G and L ratings, as well as the overall AIA pool for the respective business unit.
The leverage chart that follows provides guidance when considering awards for individuals with various G and L ratings. It serves as a starting point for leaders who have responsibility to differentiate pay based on performance while managing within their pool of dollars. Of course, leaders are responsible for allocating awards that do not exceed their allotted AIA pool.
