I've done an internet search and I will go with "electrolytic process". See: http://www.scienceclarified.com/El-Ex/Electrolysis.html which describes electrolysis and also specifically in relation to aluminum production, it calls it - "electrolytic process". In google a search of "electrolysis process" comes up mostly with Russian sites, while "electrolytic process" gets about twice as many results and of sites which look more like they're written by English native speakers. | По-русски это называется электролизное производство (от электролиза), здесь имеется в виду не процесс, а подразделение алюминиевого завода,в том числе: литейное производство, анодное производство. В одном проекте строительства такого завода это называлось Reduction Area (reduction - это то же электролиз, aluminium reduction cell - электролизер, чаще просто cell). |
