Middletown, OH, March 16, 2006 — AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) said today that it will increase spot market prices for its carbon steel products by $30 per ton for all new orders accepted for shipment May 1, 2006 and later. AK Steel also has advised its flat-rolled carbon steel customers that a $189 per ton surcharge will be added to invoices for products shipped in April 2006. |
