Полностью дефиниция выглядит следующим образом: "blue -chip" - high value poker counter, from 1904 in the figurative sense of "valuable;" stock exchange sense, in reference to "shares considered a reliable investment" is first recorded 1929.В принципе, смысл понятен, только не ясно само значение конкретно словосочетания "high value poker counter", т.к. в покер не играю и вообще с картами мало имела дела:) |
