To the aluminium hydrate paste, either a liquid or a solid addition is added in a batch kneader. The kneading bed temperature can be controlled through the heating lacket of the kneader. After kneading, the material is dumpted into a buffer hopper. The hopper is equipted with level switches and with a special designed "circle feeder" as discharge aid. The circle feeder will act as a rotary activator of the complete bottom of the hopper and create a mass flow in the hopper,ensuring continuous flow of material, without hold up.
