PTO engagement vs. PTO actuation

Subject: PTO engagement vs. PTO actuation auto.

Помогите,пожалуйста, разобраться. Тех. хар-ки коробки отбора мощности. Первый пункт - Sample applications, второй и третий - ниже. Я не могу понять разницу между egagement и actuation. Заранее большое спасибо.

Engagement
All PTOs are engaged by integrated compressed air cylinders. They are disengaged by spring force.
Clutch-dependent PTOs are connected to the transmission layshaft via a dog clutch when engaged.

Actuation
The PTOs are actuated pneumatically by means of an engagement valve and a compressed air cylinder pressurized on one side. This is integrated in the PTO housing.
