пока ms801 спит у себя в Америке: ВСЕ слова не пишутся с большой буквы нигде. 3.49. The articles a, an, and the; the prepositions at, by, for, in, of, on, to, and up; the conjunctions and, as, but, if, or, and nor; and the second element of a compound numeral are not capitalized. http://www.gpoaccess.gov/stylemanual/browse.html Другие слова пишутся с большой буквы в заголовках разного уровня. Для Вашего случая - если по структуре документа у Вас там одни заголовки, можете их писать, как в примере ms801. При этом, чем длиннее фраза, тем менее уместно в ней употреблять заглавные буквы в середине. |

Ok, ms801 woke up.... -:) Agree with Anatoly D. I think in this example it's OK to capitalize every word (except "in") since I was shooting for a title-like short phrase. But I agree with Anatoly D in that the longer (and the more complete) the sentence, the more appropriate it is to use sentense capitalization rules (first word capitalized, all other words in lower case.) Also, some newspapers tend to capitalize EVERY word--even the articles and prepositions. I don't like that. I seem to recall a rule that states that if a preposition is longer than two characters (out, about, etc.), you need to capitalize it, if two characters or shorter (in, on, of, etc.), then don't. I don't remember the source and I won't even claim that it is an official rule, but some publication seem to be following it. You can usually get any good dictionary and look up capitalization rules in the back. |

ОлькА: I would say smth like: 12:00 Meet(ing) with tour guide in hotel lobby (YOu can capitalize every word, except "in", if you want). But I would drop the articles and the posessive. This is often done in titles and headings. |
