I agree with V. If you question is purely grammatical and not legal, the correct way to say it "AT the employee's initiative/request". Also, I have seen contracts, which have sub-clauses like "Termination by Employee" or "Termination by Employer." But usually those apply to term contracts, which are made for a set term (like two years), and, therefore, may not be easily terminated by employee's resignation. But, of course, in case of "at-will" employment, V's suggestion still "rules"... :-) |
