Перевожу резервный ( standby ) аккредитив. Возникли сомнения в переводе фразы entitled to the amount of this draw (а именно, draw ) в этом контексте:

We hereby establish our irrevocable standby letter of credit No. __ in favor of X for the account of Y up to the aggregate amount of ____ U.S. dollars, available by when accompanied by the following:

…

Beneficiary’s dated statement purportedly signed by an authorized representative reading: Y has failed to comply with the terms of Purchase Order No. ___, and we are therefore entitled to the amount of this draw.

Вообще выше упомянуто, что аккредитив available by : sight , draft : at sight , т.е. используется тратта. Но в интересующем предложении не draft , а draw .

Может, просто написать "… что наделяет нас правами на сумму настоящего аккредитива?" (еще выше пометка partial drawings prohibited ).

Где-то видела, что draw можно переводить как «кредит», и слово активно используется в контексте всяких кредитных линий. Но возникает ли здесь механизм кредита? В общем, буду рада, если специалисты по расчетным документам помогут разобраться со словом draw в данном случае.

Согласно ISP98 Rule 3.08c

The statement "partial drawings prohibited" or a similar expression means that a presentation must be for the full amount available.
