а какая вообще связь между информацией полиции и плотностью движения? нет смысла и, более того, нельзя пытаться это конкретизировать в переводе. какая бы у полиции информация ни имелась, это просто она и всё. |

The meaning of 'police information' here isn't clear. It could mean either: a) warnings from drivers to other drivers about police speed traps etc ahead -- so that they can avoid them or slow down; or b) alerts to drivers from the police about traffic congestion/closed roads/accidents/road works/diversions ahead. If b) above is mentioned separately, then I suspect it means a) -- but that's only my suspicion and the original doesn't specifically say that. |

Благодарю всех! Совершенно согласен с тем, что без дополнительных данных нельзя установить, что означает police information. Однако с учетом того, что речь идет про crowd-sourcing app (а если по-русски, наполняют приложение сами пользователи), можно было изначально усомниться в том, что речь идет об информации от полиции. |
