Subject: pin base Дорогие коллеги!Помогите уточнить название детали " pin base" из пылесоса для удаления пылевых клещей: The UV-C lamp is attached to two pin bases. Carefully pull them up and detach the UV-C lamp from the pin bases. На рисунке это под номером 10. Благодарю. |

I don't know the Russian, but the sense of 'pin' is the same as for the pins on an old (thermionic valve (UK)/thermionic tube (US)) (on the right of this photo):
-- if it helps. Obviously the pins on your lamp will be of a different shape, but they'll fit into a socket (base) just as the pins on thermionic valves used to fit into a valve socket (base). |

Correction: The pin base is the piece of solid bakelite/plastic/ceramic/whatever at the bottom of the valve in my photo, and at either end of the lamp in your photo, that the pins are attached to and form part of. In my photo the pin base is black, and in your photo the two pin bases (at either end of the lamp) are white. |
