'window' here just means 'a limited time frame (=period of time) in which sth can/must happen', as in: * 'Prior to the election on 17th August there will be a limited, two-week window in which the various parties will be able to present their policies to voters'. * 'The UN has proposed a three-month window, from the beginning of March to the end of May, for talks to take place between the US and China'. So here, presumably, it's a limited period of time during which the account(s) (or whatever) must be settled. |
