It is necessary to explain to stakeholders how the organisation sits within the global energy governance framework, why it is unique and how it adds value alongside other multilateral agreements смысл ясен, "поляна занята"))) конкурентов много, но с формулировкой туго Организация осуществляет свою деятельность в такой области, где уже присутствует ряд международных институтов, занимающихся этой проблематикой ? спасибо |

| 'institutional' here refers to 'institutions' rather than 'institutes'. 'Institutions' is just being used here as a fancy name for 'organisations of various types'/'organisations of whatever type'. |

| may be you are right and in this context it would be more appropriate to use "организации" |

в сфере , где уже работает множество международных [профильных] институтов/учреждений что такого? по-русски "институт" - не только вуз. |
| Это что-то в том духе что организация работает в области, интесивно регулируемой (находящейся под пристальным внимаением) международных регулирующих органов. |
