Subject: polystyrene narrow and broad standards polym. Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC)
Molecular weight analysis (Mw, Mn and polydispersity index (PDI)) of the polymers was carried out by Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC.) Each sample was dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (THF.) The system eluent was converted to THF at least 24 hours prior to samples being run. The equipment was calibrated using the polystyrene narrow and broad standards and set up with a 2 x PLgel MIXED-C, 5 µm, 300 x 7.5 mm column (including a guard column) before use.
