безостносительно всего остального, думаю, что вместо portion of the interest rate shall be лучше написать portion of the interest rate shall APPLY |

imho тут можно все что угодно писать, ведь это слово с большой буквы объяснено в определениях договора я бы написал про Trigger Event |

Хорошо бы покомпактнее изложить концовку, например: following the date of receipt by the Borrower from the Lender of... = following the date of receipt by the Borrower of the Lender's notice... |
