If it's an idiom, I've never heard of it, and I've no idea what it means. There are several books (fictional) with 'Children of the Serpent' or 'Serpent's Children' in the title -- such as 'Children of the Serpent Gate' by British author Sarah Ash (whoever she is). However, whether your quotation refers to one of these books, I've also no idea. |
