I think this, or a copy/edited version of it could be the source, in case it provides some context -- unless Arica says it isn't, of course: http://www.salus-smarthome.com/gb/FAQs/ Scroll down to 'UG600 Gateway' > 'Q. Can I turn off the LED?' and expand it to see the answer. (Strictly speaking, there should be a colon, a dash or some other sort of punctuation after 'to do this' -- but that's a detail). |

Arica: Sorry -- I'm not an En-Ru translator, I'm a (retired) Ru-En one. Others on the forum are native Russian-speakers, they can advise you on the Russian term(s) to use much better than me. All I can do is provide more information for you/them. If you go here: then click on 'Узнать больше' and look at Page 1, which shows how the system works, you'll see that the Gateway appears to be some form of central controller which receives signals from the monitor, sensors etc and sends signals out to (controls) the various thermostats etc. So a synonym of this in English might be 'hub' -- literally, the centre of a wheel -- if that helps. |
