wow2 +1 No, strictly speaking 'construction' can't assess anything -- but this could be shorthand jargon used within a company/organisation, to mean 'the Construction Department'/'the construction people', as wow2 says. Similarly 'Finance' and 'Personnel' are sometimes used by people working for a company/organisation as shorthand for 'the Finance Dept' and 'the Personnel Dept' (within the company/organisation). 'Pit' can mean 'coal mine'/'colliery', of course, in which case 'pit leave-down requirements' could refer to equipment deliberately left down an exhausted mine by the mine owners when they close it, because it's not worth raising to the surface -- but this doesn't tie in with the context you've given at 1:49, so I'm not sure exactly what this phrase means. |
