Всем доброго дня!Помогите пожалуйста перевести "Progress Backup Sheet" Контекст: PROGRESS MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL PROCEDURE 11.1 Objective – Basis of Measurement The objective of the procedure is the accurate measurement of progress earned as determined by physical work completed. 11.2.1.3 The Progress Backup Sheets shall provide information about the progress of every measurable deliverable and work item which will be rolled up to its immediate upper level which in turn is rolled up until the overall progress is determined at the Project level. 11.2.1.4 The Progress Backup Sheet shall include: a. Copy of the part of the Detailed Baseline Schedule that contains activity codings (i.e. Activity IDs) and activity names (i.e. Activity Descriptions) split according to the WBS of the said Schedule, in order the Progress Backup Sheet to include the exact information provided by the Schedule. Further levels, where necessary, are provided for more detailed activity breakdown as appropriate. Lowest level is then detailed into manageable and measurable deliverables and work items against which estimated quantities are provided based on Tender Drawings. Progressively, with the development of detailed engineering drawings, these estimated quantities shall be updated for proper calculation of earned progress and earned value accordingly. |

Второе, обратите внимание на термин "Backup": во всех уважающих себя компаниях всегда делают электронные копии своей документации, что вполне оправдано и разумно. С таким багажом Вы никогда не потеряетесь в бизнесе. Третье, Progress, это судя по всему, название компании. И 4-е, оно же последнее: Lonely Knight раскрутил Вас на дополнительную информацию о бизнесе компании: впредь будьте аккуратнее, помятуя о золотом правиле бизнеса о сохранении коммерческой тайны. А сам джентельмен оказался не таким уж одиноким, иначе он нашел бы для Вас время, чтобы оценить Вашу готовность ответить на все его вопросы и заодно похвалить Вас за примерную исполнительность. Вы могли бы стать неплохим секретарем любого делопроизводства. Деловым товарищам есть над чем подумать! Успехов. |

kentgrant, я вас умоляю)) В указанных отрывках нет ничего компрометирующего, типовые фразы, в каждом проекте проходят. Ничего не могу сказать по теме толкового, описание понятно, не встречался сам. Поддержу версии товарищей о том, что это резервная копия журнала контроля за ходом работ. |

I've not come across 'Progress Backup Sheet' before, but the English here is 9.5/10, so it's probably not a mis-spelling. It could possibly be a noun they've invented from 'to back up', as in 'to back up one's claims with proof/hard facts/evidence'. So if you apply for a job at a hospital and say you're a professor of brain surgery, you have to back up (prove/validate) your claim with a copy of your degree certificate/a letter from the university you studied at/letters from the hospitals you've worked at previously, etc. So it could just be a sheet with information on it which proves that you've made the progress you say you've made, hence the references to 'progress measurement' and 'validation'. It's just a theory, though. |

| PS: 'Built-up' in para 11.2.1 looks like a mistake. Even if it's meant to be 'Build-up' it's probably still a mistake as that doesn't make much sense either. Without seeing more of the original, I don't know what this means. |
