Funding; Continuations, Renewals, and No-Cost Extension
I. Funding
In order for PARTY ONE to obtain technical assistance certification, PARTY TWO shall provide a certification letter to PARTY ONE within 45 days of this Agreement entering into force, which states that funding (assistance) to be provided to PARTY ONE under this Agreement constitutes technical assistance. The entire Project, including work not covered specifically by this Agreement, will be funded by the PARTY TWO. Funding levels from PARTY TWO and RUSSIAN FUNDING PARTY shall be on a parity with one another and shall be agreed to by PARTY TWO and RUSSIAN FUNDING PARTY in separate Agreements.
The total estimated amount of PARTY TWO funding to be provided under this Agreement, including the value of Equipment and/or Materials to be provided in-kind to PARTY ONE by PARTY TWO and travel costs for destinations other than the COUNTRY TWO, is indicated in block 17 of the Award Form. Costs for travel to the Country 2 shall be treated in accordance with Article 15, and shall be provided by the PARTY ONE and PARTY TWO (or other sponsors as determined by the PARTY ONE and PARTY TWO) on a parity basis in accordance with the Umbrella Agreement and any applicable implementing agreements under the Umbrella Agreement.
