Subject: народные приметы - погода Всем добых выходных!Требуется Ваша помощь в переводе. Примета такая - 19 Ноября - Если лед на реке к этому дню становится грудами, то и хлеба будут груды, а гладко - так и хлеба будет гладко. Помогите передать игру слов (груды льда - груды хлеба), или здесь только описательно? Что то типа If blocks of ice on rivers are bulging and piling upon each other it forecasts yielding year for cereals? |

mounds of ice/ mounds of bread/grain if nothing covers the smooth ice, nothing will cover the floor of your granaries. |
| there is a folk belief for day of Nov 19 saying if the ice heaps high up on the river bread will be in abundance, should the ice cast a sparing cover bread will be scarce |
